The Parade

The Parade gets Hanwell Carnival off to a spectacular start on carnival day. A procession of floats, vintage vehicles, dressed-up Hanwellians, cycles, schools, marching bands, mobility scooters and anything else you can think of winds through Hanwell, as the cheering crowds line the streets.

We welcome entries from schools, community organisations, local businesses, official groups, marching bands, etc. The more the merrier! And it's all FREE!

This year, we're going for the theme of HANWELL - INTO THE FUTURE for the parade, so that might give you some ideas.

The parade starts at the historic Hanwell Community Centre (W7 1PD) and finishes at the main Carnival site at Elthorne Park (W7 2AH). It's a distance of about 2.3 miles (3.7 km). All paraders should be at HCC on Saturday morning by 10:00, with large trucks asked to be in place earlier by 8:00. We set off at around 11:00, and aim to arrive at Elthorne Park by 12:30, ready for the Grand Opening Ceremony of Carnival.

To book your place in the Parade, please give us a few details about your entry by completing the form below, and we'll get back to you ASAP! It's going to be a great day, and we hope you'll join in!
